In celebration of the Pink Centenary (the hotel was painted its rosy hue to celebrate the end of World War 1 in 1918), experience a special “pink package” with pink macarons and profiteroles in your room on arrival and a bottle of Le Lude rosé bubbly; a farewell gift of Mount Nelson’s special blend of tea, with pink rose petals and teas from six continents and an elegant three-course dinner served in the stylish Lord Nelson Restaurant, once the hotel’s writing room. Oak-panelling and an original bust of Admiral Nelson, carved from the timbers of the HMS Victory, make for an unforgettable culinary sensation.
Executive Chef Rudi Liebenberg has created a feast of seasonal specialities and global classics dishes with old world favourites such as caviar and potato blinis, Avocado Ritz and Caesar Salad- finished table side to start! Mains see Beef Wellington, Crown Roast Chicken or Rack of Lamb for two, presented under a cloche and carved at your table.
